LET'S TALK!

AS A YOUNG CHILD & AS A TEENAGER, I HAD WHAT SOME WOULD DEFINE AS A "CHALLENGED" LIFE. BEING RAISED BY MY PATERNAL GRANDMOTHER THE FIRST PART OF MY LIFE, THEN SHIFTING IN BETWEEN DIFFERENT RELATIVES' HOUSES THROUGHOUT THAT TIME, IT WAS SOMETIMES HARD TO KNOW WHERE "HOME" ACTUALLY WAS.

I care about character, not color; therefore, I have many "sisters from other misters," and quite a few "brothers from other mothers," and a few "sons from other moms." I am a lover of people, and if I vibe with someone, I welcome the connection, no matter what color they are.

Too many people want to politicize emotions, and affiliate even their own way of thinking with what their favorite politician has said. Many of us think that, if we don't think as he/she says to the tee, then that leaves us out of the pack.

Instead of trying to understand, empathize, or even LISTEN to what a troubled, mistreated, or unfairly traumatized person has to say, they try to dismiss, marginalize, or generalize the hurt. Truth be...

CoVid may have had me down, but not out! When you're convalescing, your mind tends to wander sometime. However, for me, that's a GOOD thing; it gave me a chance to really rethink some things & regroup. Now, I not only plan to elaborate on my original mission, but refocusing to put some other things into play. STILL ON A MISSION......

Time after time, you hear horror stories of people being hurt, humiliated, or even being killed, for simply living THEIR lives, the way THEY want to. Do any of us really have the right to tell or demand that someone has to live their life a certain way? Would you want someone to dictate your life for you? After a...

Truth be told, MOST or ALL of us have a bit of racism or prejudice in us, (denial) albeit intentional or unintentional.
